Wabi Sabi
Wabi Sabi, is a branding project I created for a Japanese dumpling and ramen bar. In traditional Japanese aesthetics, wabi-sabi (侘寂) is a world view centred on the acceptance of transience and imperfection. The aesthetic is sometimes described as one of beauty that is “imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete”. I wanted the branding to be fun, fresh with a mix of vector illustrations and colours.
